Paris by Pedal Power – Fully Guided (Deposit)

You may never win the Tour de France but, how would you feel cycling down the Champs-Élysées having ridden under your own steam all the way from the sea. Just an overnight sail away, Normandy has the weather to match and even better the best of an English summer, and of course, manages to deliver that with very French aplomb. From the beautiful harbour of Honfleur and heading inland, Haute Normandie is one of France’s great dairy ‘baskets’ and famous for its butter and cheeses, not to mention its fine and more earthy ciders.
Pedal Power to Paris picks its way down quiet lanes of Normandy, gently crossing tributaries of the River Seine, passing through timber-framed villages and, winding through a patchwork of plentiful fields. The tour brings you up to the edge of the Ile de France where you cycle through Louis VI’s 13th Century arch of La Porte de Bretagne before discovering a remarkably rural route right to the heart of capital city. Surprise yourself as you sneak up on Paris.

Provence – Hidden Provence – Fully Guided (Deposit)

Tucked behind the glamour of parts of the French Riviera, is a Provence that looks to its land rather than out to sea, no more so in the northern reaches of the region where the lower mountains of the Alps seem not much more than a very hefty stone’s throw away.

On our Hidden Provence cycle tour, after a first relaxing evening and peaceful sleep, we will transport you to a slightly wilder and remote Provence. More sparsely populated than the coastal areas, the north of the region contains some dramatic landscape; deep gorges, wooded slopes and an intricate network of valleys connecting smaller and sleepier towns, villages and hamlets. It has an ancient history where people lived not just on the land but sometimes in it.

You will have opportunities to splash about in the cooling blue waters of the Verdon before you start your riding from a hilltop with fantastic vistas in all directions. From here back to the starting point of your tour, great cycling down quiet lanes and along hidden tracks is the very best way to discover and unlock the heartland of Provence at its and your natural pace.

Let a Hidden Provence put a smile on your face every day from dawn until dusk.

UK Taster Session – Fully Guided

Our Fellow Velo Taster Weekends are run twice in the tour calendar using Dunchurch in the Heart of England as a small hub. They are designed to offer an easy route into our cycle touring holidays; an opportunity to gain confidence following a guided trail, as an introduction to Fellow Velo as a team and, great preparation for a cycling holiday in France in the summer.

Though we cannot promise a warmer French climate or reproduce the landscape highlights of our holiday tours, our short taster rides aim to share something of the style of the routes that we have chosen in France. We hope they will give you the confidence that you may be looking for before committing yourself to booking a fellow Velo Tour in France or, for the tour you have already booked with us.

We will book you into accommodation for the Saturday night and the cost covers;
